Life at Carenne Part II

The last two years has been hell for anyone associated with Carenne because of one man, the infamous Brian Carter. Since Brian Carter's campaign against Carenne, which he has many supporters for both inside and outside the school increased scrutiny has been placed on anyone and anything to do with Carenne.

Michael Auld, Kym Tattersall and Simone Russell were the key people in Brian Carter's dismissal. They were afraid of what he knew about the school and the damage he would cause if he spoke out. He knew of Michael Auld's corrupt practices, Kym Tattersall's treatment of students and Simone Russell's mishandling of school funds. He was a risk that had to be eliminated.

Michael, Kym and Margaret went to Terry Mahony and threatened him. Either Brian Carter went or they would expose him for a number of errors he made to do with child protection, purchasing and handling of complaints. Terry, being the weak man that he is did what they wanted and arranged for Brian Carter to be sacked.

Initially, Brian Carter was to be sacked around the 27th of December 2008, after he had taken the buses for repairs and during the holidays so he could cause minimal damage. When Brian Carter appeared to have figured out what was going on it was decided that he would be sacked on the last day of school - a decision made by Terry Mahony and Geoff Salmon and not discussed with other directors.

Brian Carter was the primary target but it was hoped that with him gone, Nathan Carter would leave of his own accord. Nathan had become a problem for Michael, discovering things he had done wrong and reporting him misusing school property for RDA.

Brian Carter didn't go silently and his supporters inside the school began falling inline behind him exposing other issues at the school. The result was the snowball that we now have.
