Life at Carenne Part I

Carenne Public School would be one of the most unique schools in the state by how it is run and the culture that has developed inside. For years, it was seen as the shining light of special schools in NSW, a sort of school to aspire to be like but this has been completely turned upside down after the Withyman affair.

Carenne is a school which has always been bitterly divided. Staff in the junior school had been distrustful of staff in the senior school and vice-versa. This changed a little when staffing was mixed up but what Carenne's detractors call the KLAN emerged. Carenne has three groups - the KLAN, those who oppose the KLAN and people who don't care for the rot.

Michael Auld was always the leader of the KLAN. He was always the one who called the shots even though he hid in the shadows. You see, Michael Auld isn't the sort of person he pretends to be, he is a nasty, caniving bitch. You would expect that the rot he goes on with that he would be a bitchy woman but he isn't. This is a man who has built his whole life around Carenne and if the dung was ever flung he would most likely commit suicide. He couldn't live without Carenne.

Barbara Woolfe was the leader of the Saviours as they have been called. She was a serious threat to the KLAN so we did everything we could in 2009 to get rid of her. She was told that if she didn't leave quietly that we would blame the whole Josh Northey thing on her and publicly name her as being a child abuser just like we did to Jenny O'Neill and Brian Carter.

You see, the KLAN only cared about one thing and that was CONTROL. All the rot we went on with was about maintaining CONTROL. Terry Mahony, Lyn Duncan, Terry Neal and Neil Moon have never ran the school. The school was ran by the KLAN. We would get what dirt we could on people and use it to our advantage. If this involved getting information from the Police via Simone, DOCS via Janelle or any other method it didn't matter. Simone has dirt files on almost everyone associated with Carenne. She has had checks done using the Computerised Operational Policing System on virtually everyone.

For the rot in the KLAN to continue we had to have good connections and we did. We were protected by Carole McDiarmid in the department and various high ranking officers in the police. When Jeremy Russell got into some hot water, Simone called in a favour from JIRT and he was let off. This man is a serious risk to children and he is out walking around because his father is Scott Russell.
